Full throttle with a lot of passion

Nothing works without the many hard-working helpers Basel Tattoo. They ensure that things run smoothly in front of and behind the scenes and are therefore indispensable. Be it as an usher, at ticket control, in the lounge, during set-up, in the shops, as an assistant director or in the central warehouse. The list of locations is as long as it is diverse. Around 400 volunteers are at the Basel Tattoo in action and give full throttle for this unique event. Whether royal or presidential, the bands from all over the world appreciate the support of the helpers just as much as the visitors from near and far. From early in the morning until late in the evening, they work with a lot of heart and soul and even more passion. This is certainly not a matter of course and deserves great respect and an even bigger "thank you!".

Last week the big helper meeting took place, which is synonymous with the final start to a wonderful Basel Tattoo Time is. The whole tattoo family was reunited for the first time since the big helpers' party last fall. You could already feel the crackling at the entrance to the Congress Center Basel, where the meeting took place. The anticipation and emotions were omnipresent.
