The Top Secret Drum Corps continues to impress countless visitors around the globe with its show. In Basel They are at home and this is where they like to play the most. The world-famous local heroes are back with a new show and are looking forward to their audience.

This is the Basel Tattoo 2025

You can expect a concentrated load of the most famous Scottish melodies, breathtaking drumming with the Top Secret Drum Corps as well as the international brass music elite. The Basel Tattoo 2025 with a touch of exoticism from the Middle East.

From 11 to 19 July 2025 we will unite the international music and show scene in the courtyard of the barracks BaselFor the first time, we are integrating all Scottish classics into the program. Hits such as "Amazing Grace", "Highland Cathedral", "Scotland the Brave" and many more - magically interpreted by 200 bagpipers - will trigger great emotions. The Flings and Things Highland Dancers give the popular hymns a visual touch, including in the Scottish act, and enrich the show with innovative choreographies and dynamic, elegant dance routines. In addition to the Scottish hits, visitors can look forward to the local heroes of the Top Secret Drum Corps. The Basel drum stars are returning after a three-year break and are eager to delight their audience with a new choreography and fascinating drumstick tricks.

    Due to the following factors we have decided not to release DVD and BluRay of the Basel Tattoo to produce in 2024:

    • Changing demand: The trend towards streaming platforms and digital media has increased significantly in recent years. Demand for physical media such as DVDs and BluRays, on the other hand, has declined significantly.

    • Sustainability: By avoiding physical products, we want to make our contribution to reducing plastic waste and resource consumption.

    • Cost-benefit ratio: The production of DVDs and BluRays is complex and cost-intensive. Due to falling sales figures, the cost is no longer worth the benefit.
