Here you can find the preliminary line-up for the Basel Tattoo 2024. You can look forward to a mix of modern, traditional and new elements. From the powerful-voiced youth choir from America to Asian precision to the power band from Down Under, the approximately 1 participants promise fantastic entertainment for the eyes and ears.

The Scottish Act

The Scottish act is now an integral part of the Basel Tattoo and creates great emotions and goosebumps. Well-known catchy tunes, powerful-voiced soloists and impressive bagpipe sounds take the audience to the Scottish Highlands.

In 1770, the famous captain James Hook took Australia into British possession. In doing so, he not only laid the foundation for the expulsion and oppression of the Aboriginals, but also started the “gold rush”. Numerous Scots went to Australia to have a better life there.

Am Basel Tattoo 2024 will celebrate Scotland's influence, which can still be seen across Australia today. There will be: 3 Australian and 3 British pipe bands, highland dancers from Australia and the Australian Army Band.

    The Basel Tattoo hands-on: The children can get up close and personal with the participants, try out instruments, ask questions and feel like a great tattoo musician for once. Of course, a cool refreshment, an ice cream or a snack and a "Bhaltis" should not be missing. For one afternoon, the Tattoo Arena becomes a large children's playground. Admission is free.
