Here you can find the preliminary line-up for the Basel Tattoo 2024. You can look forward to a mix of modern, traditional and new elements. From the powerful-voiced youth choir from America to Asian precision to the power band from Down Under, the approximately 1 participants promise fantastic entertainment for the eyes and ears.
United States Army Field Band
They are responsible for representative ceremonies in the USA and are characterized by high musical quality and precision. They perform more than 400 performances a year, mainly in the USA. The band will be coming to Switzerland for the first time in 2024.
One Voice Children's Choir
Big Bike Orchestra
Six unusual artists on an extraordinary bike: This is the Big Bike Orchestra from Poland. They will demonstrate their musical skills and add a touch of slapstick at the same time.
Singapore Police Force Band
Swiss Armed Forces Brass Band
The lively and versatile orchestra consists of top brass players from the Swiss brass band scene and is musically an absolute asset to every show. They draw on a wealth of experience from countless tours at home and abroad.
OzScot Highland Dancers
The Band of the Australian Army
Their musical performances with a mix of rock, pop and classical music guarantee the best entertainment. Their distinguishing feature is the “slouch hat,” a hat whose brim is bent up on one side. Wherever they perform, they are among the audience's favorites

Massed Pipes and Drums
The Massed Pipes and Drums are an international association of 200 bagpipe players and drummers. They come from all over the world and consist of the following formations:

The Scottish Act
The Scottish act is now an integral part of the Basel Tattoo and creates great emotions and goosebumps. Well-known catchy tunes, powerful-voiced soloists and impressive bagpipe sounds take the audience to the Scottish Highlands.
In 1770, the famous captain James Hook took Australia into British possession. In doing so, he not only laid the foundation for the expulsion and oppression of the Aboriginals, but also started the “gold rush”. Numerous Scots went to Australia to have a better life there.
Am Basel Tattoo 2024 will celebrate Scotland's influence, which can still be seen across Australia today. There will be: 3 Australian and 3 British pipe bands, highland dancers from Australia and the Australian Army Band.

All formations of Basel Tattoo as well as numerous guest formations from home and abroad enchant the more than 120 visitors on the side of the road and ensure a crackle in the city that we otherwise only know from the Basel carnival.
Basel Tattoo Children's Day
The Basel Tattoo hands-on: The children can get up close and personal with the participants, try out instruments, ask questions and feel like a great tattoo musician for once. Of course, a cool refreshment, an ice cream or a snack and a "Bhaltis" should not be missing. For one afternoon, the Tattoo Arena becomes a large children's playground. Admission is free.

Basel Tattoo Street
The Basel Tattoo is more than a musical show. Already in front of the gates of the arena, the popular Tattoo Street awaits you with its city festival-like character. Various clubs spoil you with a varied culinary offer. Access to Tattoo Street is also possible without a ticket.
