The Basel Tattoo 2024 will take place from July 19th to 27rd at the Kaserne area in Basel.

The Basel Tattoo takes place in any weather. It's an open air event. We ask the visitors to change their clothes according to the weather conditions (rain jacket, sun protection, sun hat). Umbrellas are not allowed during the show.

Rain ponchos can be bought at the entrance for CHF 2.00.

Tickets can be bought in Basel Tattoo Shop, at Ticketcorner or at Eventim. We would like to point out to ticket buyers that tickets should be bought from the official offices and not through providers such as Global Tickets or Vienna Ticket Office. These are not official ticket partners, they mostly offer overpriced tickets.

AHV/IV discount recipients receive 10% in the early performances on both Saturdays and the Sunday performance. 

The following applies to children: 0-5 years free, 6-15 years 50% (valid in the early performances on the two Saturdays and on the Sunday performance).

The Basel Tattoo Parade takes place on Saturday, July 20, 2024, from 14.00 p.m. to approx. 16.00 p.m.

Parade route: To be announced in June 2024.

The list of participants will be published at the beginning of July.

The Basel Tattoo Parade is free. By purchasing the parade badge on site, you support us so that we can continue to offer the parade without an admission ticket.

The Piper's Lounge is located on the premises next to the Basel barracks. The exact location is signposted. A map of the location will be emailed to visitors with a lounge ticket shortly before the event.

The lounge opens at 19.45:17.45 p.m. Friday to Saturday, 19.15:XNUMX p.m. on Sunday and XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. Monday to Thursday.

We ask visitors with a lounge or skybox ticket to register to visit the Basel Tattoo to dress elegantly.

Parking spaces are only available to a limited extent. We recommend parking in the Messe car park (Riehenstrasse 101, 4058 Basel). Parking tickets are available for CHF 15.00 in our webshop (Important: Parking tickets will no longer be sold 10 days before the premiere!). It's a 10-minute walk from the parking garage Basel Tattoo Sand.

Various bus partners offer a package deal with travel and show tickets. Here you will find more information.

Tattoo Street is located on Kasernenstrasse and Klybeckstrasse. Around 15 stands offer a wide range of culinary delights.
