Five Canadian pipe bands and a delegation from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police accompany the dancers and honor the historic connection between Scotland and Canada. The last stage leads back to Europe, more precisely to the Band of the Royal Regiment of Scotland. Although Scottish bands are inextricably linked to bagpipes, this group has a long tradition of brass music and can look back on a musical heritage that stretches back to the time of Mozart.
