For more than 10 years, the Federal Department of Defence, Civil Protection and Sport (DDPS) has been the patron of the Basel Tattoo. A few weeks ago, the contract with the DDPS was extended by another five years, until 2027. The Basel Tattoo can therefore continue to call itself the official tattoo of Switzerland.
